Adoptable Winston
Angels of Assisi is changing the role of an animal shelter to include resources, programs, and services to benefit the pets in our communities and the people who love them. We are an independent, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Southwest Virginia and West Virginia. Along with our Adoption Center and Farm Sanctuary, we offer a Community Pet Hospital, Rural Veterinary Care, Cruelty Investigations, Disaster Response, and a Safety Net Program for those needing temporary help due to domestic violence or emergency situations.

Your new best friend is waiting for you! Whether you’re looking for a dog to join your pack, a new feline family member, or a bunny for your apartment, we’re experts at pairing people with their new pet! Our Adoption Center is open 7 days a week from 12pm to 6pm with no appointment necessary! You can view all of our available animals before your visit below.
